Welcome to KGM Studio. Hi, my name is Tina, and it's so good to be back with you guys today. I want to share something that has been been placed on my heart for this season, something about God's kingdom and his purpose for our lives. I also want to share something that God has been doing through a book he placed on my heart. I wrote a book called His Kingdom, Understanding God's Assignment for Humanity Here on Earth. Let me tell you, when God first gave me this assignment, I had no idea what his kingdom really meant. In 2017, I felt God tell me, you're gonna write a book called His Kingdom. And I said, wait, what? I honestly could not understand why God would ask me to do something like that. English is not even my first language, I thought. Why me, God? Why would you want me to write a book? I had never dreamed of becoming an author. I was just a typical Filipino girl who moved to America when I was young, and now God was asking me to write a book about his kingdom. But I'm so grateful that God can use ordinary people for his extraordinary purposes. Amen. First Corinthians 1 27 says, But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. And I I will definitely testify that I am no even near speaking great English and great grammar or none of that. Thank goodness I have some help. But God doesn't always call the people who think they are qualified. Sometimes He calls the people who simply say yes and amen. And after years of praying, learning, writing, rewriting, and trusting God, I finally published the book in 2024. The book is called His Kingdom, Understand God's Assignment for Humanity here on Earth. And I'll tell you, it's an assignment, all right. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, besides creating my own YouTube channels, besides putting a podcast together. This one was the hardest one because I was in battle with the enemy on trying to get this done. So when I first started writing, I had to ask the Holy Spirit, how do I write this book? What do you want me to say? And as I prayed, God began giving me the chapters and the meaning behind them. So each chapter actually, his kingdom is actually an acronym with um what each chapter represents. So the first chapter is H for Holy Spirit. The second chapter is I, Inheritance and Promise, which is the letter I. The third chapter is the S, Servants of the Lord. The fourth chapter is the K, King of Kings, Jesus. The fifth chapter is the letter I, identity in Christ, I am. The sixth chapter is the N, the narrow and wide gate. The seventh chapter is the G, the Great Commission. The eighth chapter is the D, Dominion and Authority. The ninth chapter is the O, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient God. And the tenth chapter, which is the M, Miracles, Signs and Wonders. When God began giving me these revelations, it was like a light bulb went off in my head. I said, Oh my gosh, God, now I know how to write this. That is why I believe the Holy Spirit is so important. Sometimes give sometimes God gives you the assignment before He gives you the understanding. Amen. So Proverbs 3, 5 through 6 says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your path straight. I had to trust in the Lord on this one because I had no idea what I was doing, what I was writing. But when you just lift it up to God, He will make it possible. So I finally published a book, but I honestly feel there needs to be a second edition. And I'm also praying about a Spanish translation. So that is something that may be coming soon. I am excited about what God is doing and how the Holy Spirit continues to lead us. Today I want to talk specifically about the Holy Spirit. Because I believe the Holy Spirit is someone we desperately need in our lives. In the first chapter of my book, I wrote, For those who do not have a relationship with God, the kingdom of God is invisible, unattainable, and unimportant. But to those who know God, his kingdom is the air we breathe, the heartbeat we hear in everything we do and say, and the essence of our being. God's kingdom is revealed to us through the he through his spirit, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is so beautiful and so important to acknowledge because he is our helper, our counselor, our teacher, our guide, and our advocate. And I'll tell you, I always, when I pray, I always say, Holy Spirit help or Holy Spirit come because he's the one that's going to guide us through our situations or through prayer. Amen. And Jesus said in John 14, 26, but the advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and He and will remind you of everything I have said to you. The Holy Spirit is our helper. He teaches us, he reminds us of God's word, he guides us, he comforts us, he re and he reveals God's truth to us. And I will tell you, there are times when I forget things and I will say, Holy Spirit, bring it to my re remembrance. And within a second or less than 60 seconds, he will give it to my remembrance back into my memory. So it's so amazing because just like in John 16, 13, it says, But when he, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He sure guides me into a lot of things, especially trying to help me remember what scriptures goes with what. But thank goodness that when I do pray, I say the scriptures with my prayer, and that's how it can be more effective. Because then the power of God begins to manifest. Then things begin to shift in the atmosphere. But let me keep going. So have you ever had that moment when something just keeps coming back to your mind? Well, you might think, why do I keep thinking about this? Sometimes the Holy Spirit is nudging you. It's that gentle prompting in your spirit saying, Hey, I've been reminding you about this. Hint, hint, hint. And as you develop your relationship with God, you begin to recognize his voice. It's that still small voice. Jesus said in John 10, 27, My sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me. The Holy Spirit works in the lives of believers. He is the Spirit of truth and he reveals God's truth to us. So the only way he can reveal God's truth to us is when we get into the Word, when we read the Bible, when we read His gospel. So the Holy Spirit was present from the very beginning of creation. Genesis 1.2 says, Now the earth was formless and empty. Darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And the Holy Spirit is still active today, yesterday, in the beginning of time, and in the future. That's why the Holy Spirit is really just you just have to have the Holy Spirit with you at all times, especially in circumstances and um things that you may feel like, oh no, I'm in danger. The Holy Spirit will protect you. So he is not just something we read about in the Bible, he is God's presence with us and in us. Let me say that again. He is not just something we read about in the Bible, he is God's presence with us and in us. He lives inside of us. Amen. The Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit dwells within believers. First Corinthians 6 19 says, Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? So when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you also partake in the Holy Spirit, which is another gift that Jesus gave you, just like how he said, I'm I'm leaving, but I'm sending you a helper, which is the Holy Spirit. Think about that. The Holy Spirit lives in us, he is not simply a distant presence. God has given us his spirit to guide us and empower us. We cannot do it on our own, being living here on this earth, you guys, because this earth is actually um it's we live in a fallen world. There's so many things in the news, negative, all this stuff, um, so much crazy things going on and social media. You know, that you barely hear any positive things around you, you know, but the Holy Spirit will guide us. And the Holy Spirit and the Trinity, which um we believe in one God who has revealed himself as the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. So we have God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit. They are three in one. Um, Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 28, 19 to baptize people in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is here with us on earth, guiding us, teaching us, empowering us, and leading us according to God's will. Amen. That's why it's so crucial to just ask the Holy Spirit to come and help you. And I have personally experienced the Holy Spirit in so many ways, especially while serving on mission trips and ministering internationally. I've seen God do things that I could not even explain through human strength alone. And so there are times when I'll be walking in a deep alley where I think I'm not supposed to be. One time I did say, Holy Spirit, help like um cover me, guide me, make me invisible. Because I had no clue where I was walking. Um it was actually in San Francisco one time. And so the next day, God revealed to me that he had his two 10-foot angels surrounding me. And I was like, Oh my gosh. So not only was the Holy Spirit with me, guiding me, but he also brought protection over me. So that is just a beautiful thing to have, you guys. And the Holy Spirit is also the one who empowers us to operate in spiritual gifts. Now, this is where God seems, God will move us up from levels to levels when we know that we know that we are a child of God and our identity is in Christ, you will begin to transform to who Jesus called you to be. Because Jesus left here on earth, but he didn't leave us, he left us with the Holy Spirit. So now he's giving us a mantle to carry those spiritual gifts, to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons, and so much more, you guys. But in the Holy Spirit gives gifts according to his will, amen. That includes gifts such as word of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation of tongues. First Corinthians 12, 7 says, Now to each one of the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. So when God uses us, the glory belongs to Him. It doesn't belong to us because God is doing it through us through the works of the Holy Spirit. We are just simply vessels. The Holy Spirit can also give us fresh revelation and understanding when we read God's word. Have you ever opened your Bible and read something that you have read many times before, but suddenly it means something completely different to you? This that is one of the beautiful ways the Holy Spirit can illuminate God's word. Um, first Corinthians 2 10 says, These are the things that God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. Sometimes you can read the Bible and think, I don't understand this. So pray, Holy Spirit, help me understand your word. Reveal to me what you want me to see. And as you seek God, he can bring understanding and revelation. The word that speaks directly to you in a particular moment can become what many Christians called a Rhema word, a personal spirit-illuminated application of God's written word. Sometimes when I read something, it just that's when that word is speaking to me right then and there. And I know, um, like I don't need to dissect it. I know that God is speaking to me, through me, with just that specific scripture of that word. And so that is sometimes how the Holy Spirit will begin to speak to us. Amen. God's thoughts are higher than ours. Sometimes God sees something in us that we don't even see in ourselves. You may look at yourself and think, I can't do that, but God sees the potential He placed inside you. Amen. In Isaiah 55, 8 through 9 says, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Now, sometimes what we think we have, you know, the best job that we could even possibly imagine, God can see us higher than that. He actually moves us up from level to level to promotion. And so I just believe that God is um speaking to you today and believing that you may think you're at this job, but God wants to use you for higher things, for bigger assignments for his kingdom. Amen. When we surrender ourselves to God, the Holy Spirit can reveal things we never considered before. Maybe it's a future assignment or a ministry, a person you are supposed to encourage, or even a vision for how God wants to use your life to serve his people. And we have to be willing to listen. Now, that's why God gave us two ears and one mouth. Listen more, speak less. I want to share a testimony from one of the healing rooms when I was invited to serve and pray for people. I was asked to pray with one of the ministers I volunteered with, and I asked the Holy Spirit to give me a word of knowledge for one of the ladies. As I prayed, I heard the word breathe. So I asked her, Do you have a hard time breathing? She said yes. She had sleep apnea, asthma, and allergies, so I began to pray for her. Then I felt prompted to blow gently toward her chest and face. Now let me tell you something funny. I had just finished eating and the food I had eaten had onions in it. And I thought, oh my goodness, this woman is about to smell my onion breath. I was hesitant. I was thinking, Lord, are you sure? But I felt prompting to be obedient, so I did. And when I blew toward her, she went. And I thought, oh my gosh, what did I just do? But afterward, she told me that she had come into the healing room having difficulty breathing. She said that when I blew toward her, she felt an immediate release. She felt like a breath, like a breath had come upon her, her nasal passages cleared, and her breathing became normal. She told me she was holding back tears because of what she experienced. And I thought, wow, God, but I want to make something very clear. I did not heal her. God did. I was simply obedient to what I believed the Holy Spirit was prompting me to do. The Bible says in Acts 3.12, after a miraculous healing, Peter asked why people were amazed as though they had made the man walk by their own power of godliness. The glory belongs to God. I repeat, the glory belongs to God. Amen. That testimony taught me something important. We need the Holy Spirit to lead us. Without the Holy Spirit, we can try to operate in our own strength. But when we surrender to God, he can use us as vessels for his purposes, and you can begin to see miracles, signs, and wonders. So, how do we become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit? First, get into God's Word. You gotta read your Bible, you gotta study it, you gotta meditate on it, pray over it. Ask the Lord what He's trying to reveal to you. Romans 12, 2 says, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. A lot of times our mind can lie to us. Our mind begins to have this battlefield of knowing, is that the truth or is that the truth? No. Just continue praying and believing God's word, read God's word so you know the truth. This truth will set you free. God's word transforms us from the inside out, and as our minds are being renewed, we become more able to recognize what is pleasing to God. As God mentions in Psalm 119, 105, your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path. The word of God gives us direction, and faith grows when we hear God's word. Romans 10 17 says, Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message and hearing the word of God. So if you want to grow in faith, get into the word. If you want to go know God's character, get into the word. Read your Bible. If you want to recognize what is from God, get in the into the word. If you want to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit, get into the word and then be still. Just like how he says, be still and know that I am God in Psalms 46, 10. Slow down, just pray and listen and ask, Holy Spirit, what are you showing me? What do you want me to learn? Where are you leading me? And then compare what you sense with the Word of God. Because God is not the author of confusion. The devil is. For God is not a God of disorder or out of peace. Today, so today I just want to encourage you, invite the Holy Spirit into your life. Invite him into your decisions, into your family, into your ministry, into your workplace, into your relationships, into your calling. You don't have to figure everything out by yourself. The Holy Spirit is our helper. He is the our teacher, our guide, and our advocate. And the Holy Spirit always points us back to Jesus. So Jesus said in John 15, 26, When the advocate comes, when I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. So let's remain sensitive to his voice. Let's stay rooted in God's word and let's keep our hearts surrendered and let's be willing to say, Yes, Lord, use me. Here I am. Because sometimes God will give you an assignment that you don't understand. Look at me, I didn't understand writing a book, but I did it anyways. Sometimes he will ask you to do something you've never done before, like write a book or start a podcast. Sometimes you'll say, Why me? But remember, God doesn't need you to have everything figured out. He needs you to be willing and obedient. That is what happened with me when God told me to write his kingdom. I didn't know how, I didn't think I was qualified, I don't didn't think my English was good enough. But God had a plan. And if he can use me, he can use you. So don't disqualify yourself from what God has called you to do. Stay close to Jesus, listen to the Holy Spirit, get into the Bible, reading His Word, trust God with the assignment. So before we leave, I just want to quickly say a prayer for you. Father God, we thank you for who you are. We thank you, Lord, that you are the Lord of our lives. Lord, we come before you with humble hearts. Forgive us for the things we have done wrong. Forgive us for our sins, our mistakes, and the times we have fallen short. Help us to turn away from those things and turn our hearts completely toward you. Jesus, I make you my Lord and Savior. Take control of my life, lead me, guide me, transform me, and help me walk in your ways. Holy Spirit, I invite you into my life. Fill me with your presence, fill me with your power, baptize me with your Holy Spirit and fire. Holy Spirit, give me boldness to live for Jesus. Give me wisdom to make the right decisions. Give me discernment to recognize your voice. Give me strength to overcome temptation and help me become the person you have called me to be. Lord, I surrender my life, my future, my dreams, my family, my purpose, and my calling into your hands. From this day forward, I choose to follow you. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your mercy, your cross, the resurrection. Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit. I declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
